  we stayed at sandy cape for the first time in april. it was a busy weekend as it was the start of school holidays and we ended up camping on the north side which was terribly windy. however the beach is lovely and the view from the lookout is spectacular, well worth the walk atop all the sand dunes. i was thankful that it had public loos. it was so great being able to wake up by the beach and sit on the sand with a warm cuppa and just take in the world. we are heading back next week. only downside is we cant light a fire this would just top it off.

  Great camping spot with plenty of sites in both the north side and south side camping area's although could use more powered sites for those with campers or caravans. Public toilets available that are a little smelly being that they are biodegraded chemically. (Use the toilets at each end for those with a sensitive nose). Beautiful beach in a protected cape with good fishing and great sand dunes to sandboard. Boards can be hired from the Jurien Bay surf shop for those who don't have their own. Overall great camping trip. Toilets were the only reason Sandy Cape didn't get 5 stars !!!

  Loved it here. Such a great location - so close to the beach and the amazing dunes that provide an awesome morning or afternoon walk and lookout. Nicely maintained facilities - Drop Toilets, BBQ's, and shaded seating/dining area. Ample large sites and great that you could have open camp-fires. Being 12k away from Jurien Bay makes this place a top self sufficient camp ground.
